It’s so nice to meet you!

My name is Alex Parris! I just graduated in May 2024 with my Master of Social Work degree from University of Houston. I’ve completed several trainings in thanatology and death companioning as well, from The Open Center of New York and the School of American Thanatology.

Throughout my career, I hope to help improve the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses. I’m not sure what that will look like for me yet, but I’m here for the journey.
